Broken Foot Read-a-thon

Broke my foot on August 10, 2019.

Bummer :(

Not even a good story to how it happened. I was jumping rope. Like I always do. I’ve been seriously jumping rope since I became a goaltender in lacrosse (way back in the ‘90s). Foot work, people! Continued to jump a lot of rope playing in the net for Harvard. A lot.

Anyway …

It was a fluke accident. Had to get operated on to put the bone back together. With two screws. Yikes!

All said and done I can’t have any weight on it for about six weeks. (I’m writing to you from about week three.)

Time to practice Zen meditation and read!

Without further ado …
